Freedom 250 Announces "Logo for the People" — Opens Brand to the Nation

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Freedom 250 today launched Logo for the People, an open invitation for Americans everywhere to mark the nation's 250th anniversary using official Freedom 250 branding that's free, accessible, and built to be shared.

Starting today, anyone can visit Freedom250.org to download official logos, brand assets, and participation toolkits, then put them to use: on a Main Street banner, a classroom project, a church bulletin, a small-business storefront, a town parade. The 250th belongs to every American, and now the visual identity of the celebration does too.

Connecting it all is the Freedom 250 National Participation Network, which hundreds of organizations have already joined. It's a simple way for communities and organizations to register what they're doing to celebrate.

"The nation's 250th year is a celebration that belongs to every American," said Keith Krach, CEO of Freedom 250. "It belongs to the communities, families, service members, teachers, students, businesses, and organizations who continue to carry the American spirit forward every day. At its core, this is about celebrating freedom, honoring where we have been, and inspiring the next 250 years of the American story."

From a single banner on a small-business storefront to a statewide commemoration, the same official mark ties thousands of events and hundreds of initiatives into one shared American story.

Participating organizations and communities will be able to:

  • Download official Freedom 250 logos, brand assets, and participation toolkits
  • Register affiliated events, programs, and initiatives
  • Add their community to the National Participation Network map
  • Connect into national programming and signature events

Upcoming Freedom 250 signature events include:

  • The Great American State Fair on the National Mall
  • July 4 Salute to America Celebration
  • The Patriot Games

Participation in the national commemoration does not constitute endorsement by Freedom 250, the federal government, or the National Park Service.

Organizations and communities interested in participating can learn more and register at Freedom250.org.
